AXES

We make a variety of axe heads in rubber and leather designed for use in Western martial arts activities specifically SCA-style foot combat. These are intended to be used as a form to give the proper silouhette of a weapon and a more accurate balance and feel. They are all 1 1/4" thick and under most groups' rules need to be padded.

Currently we have-

Viking symmetrical- good for Norse, Anglo-Saxon,etc. through to 14th c.
Viking asymmetrical- extended lower lip. What we all think of when someone says "Viking!"
French pollaxe-modeled after examples in the Royal Armouries.
